Small Steps, Big Gains

OK, so we’ve forgotten our New Year Resolutions already….

Good thing……

Like most unhelpful activities, they are just “Events”…..

Like diets….

Time to get real, people…..

We don’t need any more events, we need permanent changes to our lifestyle….

And better choices…..

Yes, they ARE choices….

No one force feeds us Big Macs, Tim Tams, Coke, KFC or anything else….

Our Adventures in Weightloss programs are for people who are serious about some big changes…

You may not be there right now….

Understood…..

What we would like to encourage though……

If you’re not ready for a biggy….

Make some Small Permanent Changes….

It’s consistency, not spectacular short term efforts that bring true success in most parts of life…

There is growing evidence of the damage done to our future health by so many processed foods…

One newsletter came across my desk this week and the author was making a well reasoned case that Dementia is largely initiated by fungal infections that result from our overuse of sugar…

Just one of many examples to show we are killing ourselves as individuals….

And seriously jeopardising the survival of our species…

By consuming so much toxic food…

It may be news to some, but we’re all grown ups….

I’m not here to tell you how to live your life….

I am here to encourage you to look at your life…..

And maybe pick one little thing you can do consistently, permanently……

Maybe don’t do booze for 2 or 4 days per week….

Maybe keep taking your quality supplements so your body has some raw materials to use….

Maybe a half hour walk a few times a week….

Maybe drink a little more water…..

Not in coffee…..

Maybe learn about how much sugar is in the foods you are buying…..

Maybe learn a few things about margarine, canola oils, corn syrup and many others….

Maybe understand the importance of some protein for breakfast……

If you want to lose weight, bacon and eggs is so much better than sugar laden cereal and milk….

There is SO much you can do for yourself……

Very little improvements….

Consistently and permanently….

Commit to one action now….

Maybe another one in 3 or 6 months…..

Maybe in 3 years you will be living a much better life…..

And not suffering poor health potential……

As I said, forget the New Year Resolutions….

Make some less ambitious New LIFE Resolutions…..

Let this be the year you turn the graph upwards……

If you choose.
